Many feature of Paragliding Map are free but supported by advertising. If you choose to make any in-app purchase, advertising will automatically turn off and your purchase will be enabled (webcams, forecasts, etc).

Information about subscriptions: Payment will be charged to your iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions will auto-renew unless turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and will renew for the same price as the original subscription. You can cancel your subscription after purchasing by clicking the "manage subscriptions" button within the app or by opening Account Settings on your device. No cancellation of the current subscription is allowed during the active subscription period. Any unused portion of the free trial period will be forfeited when purchasing the subscription.

Paragliding Map is a strong planning tool with comprehensive weather and site data, plus excellent support and ease of use. Its downsides are data gaps in some regions, recurring ads and subscription frustrations, and trial limitations that hinder evaluation. Overall, it’s a valuable resource for pilots, especially for travel and site discovery, but data completeness and the subscription experience are common pain points.

Pros

Comprehensive and up-to-date data including weather forecasts, thermal forecasts, site details, locations, and photos, making it a strong all-in-one planning tool.
Reliable information and useful for travel planning, helping pilots find and evaluate new sites with ease.
Excellent customer support and responsiveness from the developer (Craig), with quick issue resolution.
Intuitive data presentation and easy-to-use interface that supports quick flyability checks and planning for both beginners and experienced pilots.

Cons

Invasive ads in the free version and a high-pressure subscription model (frequent pop-ups and ads unless you upgrade).
Subscription management problems (unsubscribing often fails, auto-renew and ongoing charges can be hard to stop).
Data coverage gaps in some regions (some sites have little information or are missing locally), limiting usefulness in certain areas.
Trial/free version limitations make it hard to assess value before subscribing (features locked behind a trial).
Interface or visual design could feel outdated and could benefit from an update.

I have been using this app for many years to plan my flights and find new paragliding sites. It's very comprehensive providing everything you need to enjoy good flights - weather forecast, thermal forecasts, site details, locations, photos.

I found this to be useful while traveling as to give some insight when I’m not quite sure and a great forecast , I find it to be super reliable with little error

Some sites have really good information in local knowledge others have little sites, you should game apply the app so people who give more reviews post more pictures. Get some sort of recognition, either on social media or with the app that would encourage more participation and uploading of the information.
