Recent reviews

Ads pop-up frequently and take up the entire screen for sometimes 30+ seconds. I’ve patiently waited because I really like WGN and the weather app but it’s gotten to the point where I’m waiting longer to use the app than the actual time checking the weather. On top of that there have been times where I can’t even close out of an ad and I have to quit the app and try again just to experience the same issue of not being able to close the ad. So long WGN weather app. The ad experience has ruined a really great weather app.

Used to be a great app for quickly checking the weather and now they force you to sit through full screen ads for 15 seconds at a time, and the same ad again when you switch screens to a different section. It’s making it all but unusable.

This was a great app until the last update. Now giant pop up ads come on repeatedly and won’t click off. Have to restart it several times before it works. Did no one test it out?
