User Reviews

Parent Cue is widely praised as a faith-based, practical parenting resource with age-group devotionals, weekly themes, and church-integrated content. Users value the reminders, straightforward format, and relevance for homeschooling and family life. However, the subscription model is a common contention, with cost seen as a barrier and occasional access issues after payment that block use of paid features. Overall, content and usability are strong, but cost and reliability impact the experience for some users.
Pros
  • Faith-based, Bible-centered guidance that’s practical for parenting.
  • Devotionals and materials curated by age groups with clear weekly themes for easy faith-based routines.
  • Helpful reminders, prompts, and timely emails that keep parents on track.
  • Strong church integration, allowing access to church content and alignment with sermons.
  • Broad usefulness across homeschooling, volunteering, and everyday family life.
Cons
  • Paid subscription is costly and seen as a barrier by many users.
  • Some subscribers report access problems after paying (Apple/app sync issues) preventing use of paid features.

I wish I had access to all of the app… But I literally can’t afford it. It’s not crazy expensive, but it’s one more thing I have to pay for. I think the creators of this app are genuine in their desire to build up parents. I just wish they were able to do it without charging me a subscription.

I have used this Free version of this app since 2020 and love the resources it has. I recently decided I wanted to do more with it paid for the subscription part of the app. After subscribing, I cannot not access the content. It says I’m subscribed from Apple’s side, but Parent Cue app itself doesn’t show me as subscribed. So I’ve paid for it, and when I click on subscribe (again) it has a message that I’m already subscribed (from Apple). I reached out to their team who said they gave me 24 hour access while they tried to solve the problem, but I didn’t actually get access with that either. So, I’d give a 5/5 for the Free version of this app but so far a 1/5 for the subscription since I cannot access it at all and already paid for it. If it gets resolved, I’ll update my rating. 3/5 for an average of the two.
