Trane home is inadequate in every sense of the way. #1 Trane does not support their own equipment or phone app. #2 they pawn you off to the installers who have no ability to help you with the app. #3 you have no (actual) ability to program and control your heat pump from your phone as the app does not reconnect unless you (refresh) the connection. I have had my heat pump for 3 months and it has been the worst decision I have made in 10 years

I have 2 Trane thermostats, one upstairs one downstairs. Difficult to walk between the two of them and I wanna make a change. So it’s great to have an app that I can only change the temperatures but also look at history how much you see for today or how much usage month the date back a year. If something happened to one of my Trane thermostats. Buy another one exactly like it.
