User Reviews

Users generally praise the app for its comprehensive symptom logging, icon calendar, data longevity, and a one-time payment model with export/notes capabilities. However, many complaints focus on usability: a non-intuitive redesign, cluttered UI, flaky data entry, and poor Apple Health integration. Some users also miss features like perimenopause mode, custom symptoms, and resting heart rate tracking. Overall, the app is valued for its history and cycle predictions, but would benefit from UI improvements and feature refinements.
Pros
  • Rich symptom options and an icon-based calendar view for quick visual tracking
  • Reliable long-term data retention across devices with automatic backups
  • One-time payment model (no subscription) and ongoing upgrades
  • Helpful search, notes, and data export features for tracking past records and sharing with clinicians
  • Effective cycle tracking with predictions and a flexible calendar that adapts to input
Cons
  • New design is hard to navigate and the cycles chart no longer visually communicates cycle length
  • UI clutter and busy colors/fonts reduce readability and usability
  • Data-entry issues such as a finicky symptom search that can reset, plus occasional bugs (e.g., when entering BBT)
  • Incomplete Apple Health integration (does not consistently share menstruation and sexual activity)
  • Missing/desired features like perimenopause mode and custom symptoms (and rests heart rate tracking)

Many many years ago I paid “one time” for Pro version, but after years many features were taken away and now I offered to pay $134 “one time” again for pro features. This is not ok.

I can’t say I enjoy using this app but it’s probably the best one-time payment option for the kind of features I’m looking for so I put up with the limitations. There are various symptoms to choose from which is great, but the search bar for it is really finicky and will sometimes just reset when you try to select the severity level of the symptom forcing you to have to retype it and try selecting again really carefully. It’s cumbersome and frustrating to use. The calendar view with icons for each symptom is nice, but if you can’t remember the name of the exact symptom for each icon, you have to scroll down through the whole list of symptoms to see which ones you selected. It would be nice to just have this list up front when you click into the date or if the symptom name would pop up if you click on the icon (more ideal). The colors and the fonts are kind of cluttered and I feel like I just spend more time in the app trying to get a full picture of everything than I really want to. I do like that you can use the main search bar to find old records which is useful for tracking important dates like Pap smears or when IUD was inserted, etc. The flexibility of the period calendar is also a nice feature and I like how it updates its predictions based on the symptoms you provide, although I still can’t verify if it truly works or not. I hope they continue to make improvements to the app.
