User Reviews

Fans praise Kill the Dragon for nostalgia, simple addictive gameplay, offline play, dragon breeding/sandbox, and abundant content. The main drawbacks are clunky, poorly supported controls; limited depth that makes progression feel repetitive; monetization concerns and re-purchase issues; and frequent requests for new features like multiplayer and mini-games. Overall, it’s a charming, casual title that shines when the controls cooperate, but players want better input options, deeper dragon gameplay, and more modes to sustain long-term interest.
Pros
  • Nostalgia and lasting appeal across years
  • Simple, casual, addictive gameplay suitable for quick sessions
  • Dragon breeding/growing and sandbox mode add creative play
  • Plenty of content (200+ levels) and replay value
  • Offline play available (no constant internet required) and free-to-play
Cons
  • Controls are poor and hard to use, with limited on-device customization and on-screen options
  • Depth is shallow and gameplay can feel repetitive after early progression
  • Monetization concerns include paywalls and reports of re-purchase issues
  • Missing features are frequently requested by players (multiplayer/online play and mini-games)

My favorite mobile game. First downloaded it on my iPod when I was around 8 and I'm 20 now. Switched from Android to iPhone this week to play again. Nostalgia got me acting financially unwise.

Concept is great, visuals are cute but controls are terrible. You can't edit them to fit to your playstyle too. So instead of playing the game, you fight against the controls. No movement with movement buttons, but crappy tilting is your movement. Everytime I have to jump, I don't want to click on that TINY dwarf on the screen, so instead of jumping I regularly blow myself with the dynamite. But game offers this as a challenge. So I rate this challenge with a 1 star sadly.

I love this game, and it’s been my go to app for years when I’m bored and need something to play on the go. Apple is removing old apps that haven’t been updated for a while, so I wanted to ask that you push a simple update that would keep the game on the App Store. Thank you :)
