User Reviews

Overall, users appreciate MSAA for logging MS symptoms, journaling, and its free, all-in-one tracking that can aid doctor visits. The major recurring issues are data loss after updates, persistent login problems, limited symptom tracking (one symptom per day) with save reliability concerns, and a steep setup/UX learning curve. Date/chart inconsistencies and perceived data reliability further hinder usability. Improvements in data protection, multi-symptom support, and a more intuitive interface would boost value.
Pros
  • Good for logging MS symptoms and journaling, with a layout and charts.
  • Free to use.
  • All-in-one tracking for MS-related symptoms, medications, and treatments (useful for doctor visits).
  • General categories align with common MS experiences, aiding data capture.
  • Becomes easier to use and useful for record-keeping after spending some time with it.
Cons
  • Major data loss after updates, with no reliable way to recover years of data.
  • Persistent login/authentication problems and password-reset emails not arriving; poor direct app support.
  • Limited symptom tracking: only one symptom per day and saving issues; cannot add multiple symptoms or entries.
  • Complex setup and learning curve; not intuitive for new users; data entry can be tedious.
  • Date handling/chart data can be inconsistent (e.g., date shifts) and UX quirks affect reliability.

This app seems worth it when you look at all it has to offer. It glitches and is not something I would trust to keep important information.

I’ve had this app awhile but haven’t use it in over a year. I have forgotten my password. When I go to log in it asks if I want to reset my password. The app says they will send a temporary password to my registered email so I can sign in and create a new password. I’ve checked everything on my end but I haven’t gotten that email that it says it sent. Very irritating. I understand I’m the main problem here as I forgot my password. However the app isn’t providing the fix by not emailing me a temporary pe as it says it will.

I have emailed myself a link to remind me of my password/reset my password about two dozen times now. Never does it show up in my email, not my inbox not my spam. Yet in the home screen of the app there is no way to contact app support directly. I had to go to the webpage and I found all kinds of cool information about dozens of diseases, but could not find a direct link to app support even though it tells you to go to the website to contact app support.Super frustrated. Tempted to just forget it altogether. Not happy!
