Features & Capabilities

This app converts your HbA1c level (either DCCT Percentage or IFCC mmol/mol) to estimated average blood glucose (eAG) levels (either in mmol/l or mg/dl) and vice versa. Although there are a few methods and equations commonly used to convert these levels from one to another, this application adopts the equation suggested by the ADA (American Diabetes Association)

This application ensures that percentages do not exceed 100 (in the case of DCCT percentage HbA1c levels) and that negative or zero values are not input. However, this application does not place any other restrictions on the values entered for conversion, but HbA1c ranges of less than 3.3% / 13.7 mmol/l or more than 19.1% / 185 mmol/mol are not only unrealistic but likely to be inaccurate.

All values converted are presented to two decimal places.

User Reviews

Did not give me my A1c it gives other indications that I’m not interested in all I want is A1c calculated.

Years ago I learned the formulas to convert: eA1c=(eAG +46.7)/28.7 and eAG=(eA1c*28.7)-46.7 I used those formulas whenever I tracked my readings in a spreadsheet. However now that I use a CGM and its reports instead of a spreadsheet for tracking, I found those reports only show glucose and not A1c. This app solved that by using the exact same formulas above, so I’m giving it Kudos and 5 stars. 🙂
