Color SLapPs was created to help teach children identify the names of twelve different colors. Simple to use, Color SLapPs was designed by an SLP and modeled after Discrete Trial teaching. Children are asked to find a color(s) and rewarded with funny sounds and visuals. Users are able to choose which colors to work on within three different levels of difficulty. I like how the game teaches colors, but it has a glitch problem where it keeps cutting off. Very frustrating!

I used to love this game and used it with my youngest special needs students all the time. For more than 6 months, though, the app has had a bug that causes it to crash at the end of each game. Right before the "reward" of applause, the app stops working and closes. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling but to no avail. Shame as it's a great game.
