We had no budget for real equipment, but because our school purchased new iPads this year, all we had to spend was $4 on the app. So far it works great -- perfect for students and teacher alike. It's simple to operate yet has key features like the ability to stop and restart in mid program, slow down or speed up script at any point, format font choice and size. If you have a need for an inexpensive TelePrompTer, I recommend this wholeheartedly.

2012-01-12	Mo*****	One of the reviewers that reported having connection problems most likely didn't realize that you have to have this app installed and running on two IOS devices. That tripped me up for about a minute until I realized my mistake. It even has a mirror mode if you happen to have a beam splitter. Nice! The last teleprompter that I bought ran over $900, and it was considered a "cheapie". For two bucks, you can't beat this app.

2011-06-15	Ra*****	We are a video production team and I downloaded this app and another one to try. This app outperformed the $10 app in every way and the Bluetooth connector worked great for remote control from my iPhone4 to my iPad2! Perfect for what we need.

2011-04-24	tr*****	I took the two dollar gamble buying this hoping to get around the $15 price tag of another that had great reviews. I lost. It was a waste of two dollars. A teleprompter for me is useless without some sort of control mechanism. The remote would not connect. I ended up getting the $15 app and it worked and connected seamlessly. I'm using an iPhone 4 and iPad 2 so it shouldn't have had any issues. A sad waste of a couple of bucks.

2011-03-12	EP*****	I bought this mainly for the remote feature (I was perfectly happy with the free i-Promopt, but wanted a remote function), so I spent the $2 on this with the idea I could use it on both my 1st gen and 3rd gen iPod touches. One being the teleprompter, the other being a remote to control it. It seems to run fine on my 3rd gen iPod touch, however my 1st gen KEEPS CRASHING! So I have no way of testing the remote features. Fix this bug with the 1st gen iPod touches. Also, there doesn't seem to be any controls to change the speed of the scrolling. It scrolls too fast! This is a horrible app all around and I regret buying it. Also make it work with the File Sharing in iOS 4.0 so I can transfer a text file to it via iTunes. Edit: I just found out Bluetooth is REQUIRED for remote control? Make it work with Wi-Fi and the 1st gen iPod touch!

2010-12-15	Ir*****	This app is exactly what I needed. Its simplicity is key to making everything work. I can use my iphone to control the speed of the words it has mirror capability and I can easily copy and paste my scripts into it. Obvious 5 stars and its cheap compared to others.
