How do you use an app that only has half of the keyboard on the screen I have troubleshot many ways to get the keyboard to extend and it won’t what a waste of money

The only instructions available for how to use your own dictionary are via iTunes, which no longer exists. App is outdated and the dictionaries that are included are nonstandard and not useful.
