DaySmart Salon offers solid scheduling and a user-friendly experience, with many users praising customization and reliable appointment tracking, plus responsive support in some cases. However, recurring concerns include billing/Stripe issues and missing funds, inconsistent or hard-to-reach support, reliability outages and platform compatibility problems, and a client-facing booking UI that some find non-intuitive after updates. I like the software and booking but I don’t like the Stripe Card Service Software. I have the M2 Card Reader so when my clients get charged their service fee I have to manually add the 2.6 % transaction fee + .10 cents and if a client leaves a tip stripe double takes the transaction fee. I don’t feel like my tip amount should have anything to do with the transaction. For example, if my client’s service totals $95, the transaction fee on top of that would be $97.57. When Stripe runs the transaction they take 2.6% + .10 cents out of $97.57 instead of $95. Then if my clients leaves me a $10 tip, Stripe takes the 2.6% + .10 cent fee out of the $107.57! I HATE! this part of the card system service that comes with the booking system!

I have been busy with other things as a small business owner and something I recently noticed while trying to save up for a house, is that I haven’t been receiving all my money. I’ll check a client out through the system and when it get deposited it doesn’t include the tip or the full service price. Example: I checked a client out with her service being $85 and including tip the total was $100, when it deposited into my account I only recorded 76… at first I just thought it took some time for it to register the tip but it doesn’t even deposit the service price!?! I did the math of one month of how much it says I made in the system and how much I actually received in my bank account and I’m missing over $1500! I liked this app for a while but that is just straight up robbery!! Owning a small business is already expensive enough where I spend $61 a month for the subscription, they take out a percentage every month of how much I make, on top of not giving me all my money!!!
