The extension provides daily weather notifications, alerts for heavy rain or winter precipitations, customizable meteorological warnings by province, pollen and UV indexes, sunrise and sunset times, and a feature to share your current weather on a clickable Belgium map. It’s the official source data for this country, but the forecast animation over the map stops at the current time frame. Sometimes, the current time is the cutoff of the forecast, it’s nice to see how the clouds moved in the past, but how does it help the common folks to see the clouds would be changing in your “professional” insight on forecasting if it just stops right there? Maybe take a look at BuienRadar and learn a few tricks? But it’s still a good app, since it doesn’t ask crazy permissions to collect user data and sell it, so thumbs up for that. Let’s hope it stays that way.

The app only has temperatures in Celsius, though I would prefer them in Fahrenheit. This seems like a fundamental oversight for a weather app. I have language set to English, but all of the descriptions and warnings are not in English. I can’t speak to the accuracy of the app’s forecasts as the lack of these basic customizations precludes my use of it.
