User Reviews

Reviews praise the game for being free, easy to pick up, and feature-rich with many maps and long-term support. However, repeated issues include dice randomness that players perceive as biased, recurring glitches (notably armies disappearing), and inconsistent AI behavior that undermines strategy. Map clarity and readability also hurt planning. Overall, it's enjoyable when functioning correctly, but reliability and balance issues keep it from being consistently top-tier.
Pros
  • Free to play with no ads
  • Easy to use and highly addictive; quick to learn
  • Classic Risk-like strategy with a wide variety of maps
  • Long-standing game with good support and regular updates
Cons
  • Dice randomness often felt unfair or biased
  • Armies disappearing and other game glitches
  • AI behavior is inconsistent or not challenging; poor tactics
  • Maps/continents unclear or poorly defined, hindering planning

Although I love this game, the dice algorithm is really wild. I’m. I’m not sure if anything can be done to fix it, because I get that there is a randomized element programmed into it. But I’ve never seen dice act like this before. Too many times does a 1 successfully defend itself against 9 troops. And I don’t know if it’s purposely favoring the defender or what. But I think this needs to be looked into.

The dice is truly random so yes you will lose sometimes. Anyone who has played the actual physical board game will know this. This game is amazing and for free.
