User Reviews

Users praise WebAccess i for viewing Buffalo NAS files and remote access, with support for viewing photos and streaming video. However, many reviews report instability and crashes, and severe limitations on uploading/downloading (restricted to iPhone photo library). Compatibility issues and lack of updates on newer iOS versions are common, along with a clunky UI and limited support. Overall, usable for basic viewing but unreliable and lacking key features.
Pros
  • Viewing files on Buffalo NAS devices
  • Remote access to NAS files
  • Viewing photos and streaming video from the NAS
  • Ongoing updates/active development
Cons
  • Crashes on launch and unstable operation
  • Upload/download is limited to photos from the iPhone Photos library; no downloads or broader file transfers
  • Outdated app with compatibility issues across iOS versions; few updates
  • Clunky, hard to set up and not user-friendly
  • Support is limited to email with slow responses

Between Verizon and Buffalo and probably the stupidest person on the planet…So hard for this simple sim. I haven’t given up yet. I like local access though.

This app used to stream files to my TV from my phone no problem. Then they updated and the streaming option is gone. It says it’s in there in the “what’s new”, but I’ve been through every part of this app and it’s a lie. Literally the only thing I used this app for. Kinda pointless now. My NAS is just a SSHD connected to my router instead of what it once was, my own personal streaming server.
