iBurn 2025 includes Nearby Mode, Full Text Search, a Geocoder that shows your Playa Address, favorites, walking/biking estimates, compass mode, and event filtering. It pulls every public listing for Art Camps & Events from the PlayaEvents API and works on iPhone & iPad. It is free and open source: https://github.com/Burning-Man-Earth/iBurn-iOS.

Perfect for deep playa roaming particularly when the landmarks can’t be seen, white out, post burn or just your mind can’t recognize things! Lol! Also great for wandering the city with pinpoint accuracy if needed. I didn’t use the other features such as camps etc., but yea this is good!

On burn night with the chaos of the art car circle, it’s almost impossible to find my bike, so I learned to park it close/near an art installation over the years, then find my way back to it. I had no idea this app was going to actually work in the deep playa, it saved me A TON of time and I was able to see/find and identify so much more art because of it. So THANKS YOU SO MUCH! It’s perfect being able to navigate around the city when all the signs are down and scheduled activities. Well done.
