User Reviews

Most reviews praise Sushi Cat for its nostalgic charm and fun, faithful feel to the original, but a substantial number highlight drawbacks: the game is very short, has mobile stability issues, offers poor value for the price, lacks cutscenes/content, and suffers from occasional crashes. Fans want updates or a sequel, while enjoying the classic concept on mobile.
Pros
  • Nostalgia-driven appeal for fans of the original Sushi Cat/flash game, with many reviewers calling it a beloved throwback.
  • Overall positive reception and strong praise for the game’s quality and feel, including statements like it’s a masterpiece or amazing.
  • Faithful mobile recreation that preserves the classic Sushi Cat experience for fans who remember the PC/flash version.
Cons
  • Very short length and few levels, with multiple reviewers finishing quickly and wanting more content.
  • Mobile compatibility and stability issues on iPhone/iOS, including being unable to open the game or it not running on mobile.
  • Poor perceived value for money, with several reviewers feeling paid price isn’t justified by content or updates.
  • Missing cutscenes and limited storytelling, including not being able to view cutscenes and only a couple of storylines.
  • Stability problems and crashes during play or startup, such as freezes after cutscenes or at certain levels, and other startup crashes.

Sushi Cat is the best online mobile game to be created. After revisiting this absolute masterpiece from a few years ago, it’s safe to say this game remains the best of the best. I think about this life changing experience in my dreams, reminding me of the times where it’s ok to be a biggie. Sushi cat is my biggest (literal) inspiration of the modern day. Even after years of no updates, Sushi Cat will never be replaced, as it is the best representation of modern gaming. Rockstar is shaking in their boots. While most are waiting for GTA 6 to come out, the true REAL gamers are replaying the extravagant story and telling of the Sushi Cat experience.
