User Reviews

Users praise WSBTweather for its easy-to-use interface, accurate alerts, and forecast views with hourly details. However radar-related issues after updates (24-hour radar, missing 12-hour view, blank radar on alerts) and timeliness problems undermine reliability, and there are occasional UI bugs like temperatures not loading.
Pros
  • Easy-to-use interface and professional presentation
  • Accurate, quick weather reporting with reliable alerts
  • Past, present, and future weather views to plan your day
  • Hourly and daily forecasts for easy planning
  • Trustworthy warnings and general weather information
Cons
  • Radar changes after updates are confusing, with many wanting the 12-hour radar restored
  • Radar/notification integration issues: alerts may not display or radar map may be blank when opened from an alert
  • Information not updated in a timely manner, especially during bad weather
  • Temperatures sometimes fail to load and require refresh
  • Frustration with updates that reduce usability or reliability

The new weather app update in Feb or March is awful. Radar is way too confusing and just isn’t helpful. Think the app before was so much better. Now you have to pick the 24 hour option to even see what’s coming. Why would I need to see what’s already passed!! I liked it when it started at the time it actually is not 2 or more hours before and ending with the time it is now. I don’t need 24 hrs. I just want to see what’s coming in the next 6-8 hrs when I’m leaving my location. 24 hrs moves too fast and you can hardly see the time it’s predicting. Just go back to what worked. Why fix something that wasn’t broken!?? I’m finding a new app because this is just frustrating to use now.

Since the last update the watch, warnings, and other weather related notices don’t show up on the radar. I have the notifications selected to see the notifications. Please fix. I use it on the iPhone with the latest iOS update on it.
