Moon Globe HD

Moon Globe HD turns your iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad into a precision Moon viewer. It renders the Moon in realtime 3D using satellite imagery and topographic data with realistic lighting. Use multitouch to spin the view, or switch to Telescope mode to see the Moon as seen from your location on Earth.

The app includes a floating label cloud for terrain features and spacecraft, and a dynamic sky compass that shows the positions of the Moon and Sun. Adjust the display time to watch shadows shift, and tap labels to learn more. Note: Regular Moon Globe is smaller and free; this HD version offers slightly higher resolution.
