User Reviews

Users consistently praise Parcel for its broad carrier coverage, seamless Amazon integration, intuitive UI, and strong cross-device syncing, including Apple Watch support. The service delivers reliable tracking and a reasonable subscription price, with the developer noted as responsive. The main drawbacks are USPS-related issues after API changes, which can slow updates for USPS shipments, and occasional data lag compared with carrier sites. Free tier limitations on how many packages can be tracked and the absence of an archive feature also come up. Some users also report authentication prompts or API/domain limitations affecting Amazon business accounts.
Pros
  • Broad carrier support across many shippers
  • Amazon integration with automatic delivery import
  • Great UI/UX; intuitive and easy to add deliveries
  • Reliable cross-device syncing (iPhone, iPad, Mac) and Apple Watch compatibility
  • Reasonable subscription price with responsive developer and regular updates
Cons
  • USPS API changes reduce usefulness and can delay USPS updates, especially for high-volume users
  • Update data can lag behind carrier sites and be inconsistent at times
  • Free tier limits the number of tracked packages (some users report only a few)
  • Missing archive feature to store delivered packages
  • Amazon authentication prompts and account/domain/API limitations affecting Amazon Business accounts

I’ve tried SO many tracking apps over the years, but this is by far the best one. It’s simple, easy, and just works. It’s got all the features you need without anything else.

I bought this for the first time a couple years ago and I honestly can’t live without it. Using the separate apps straight from the shipper got annoying. I love that this color codes everything to the shipper coloring and keeps it all in one place. (I even like that it capitalizes each word typed lol). It has almost every shipper out there, rare that I can’t use it for something. I love the Amazon integration too. The barcode scanning and text scanning features are awesome. And the developer is so quick to reply to emails when I ask questions or run into issues. Seriously - my favorite app. I used to use it to track all outgoing packages from eBay and Poshmark too, but due to new USPS limitations, I track those separately in the USPS app but track my personal items in Parcel. I’d probably die without this? Which is dramatic, but honest. Love this app!

Parcel is nice, but does not show shipping status in a timely manner. Examples include you can check UPS, FedEx, USPS, and the individual apps will show more recent status updates compared to Parcel. Parcels interface with the different carriers is slow to update. Also, Parcel does not retain Amazon login for very long, requiring a new Amazon login on mostly a daily basis. As a result of these issues, the annual price for the App while reasonable is hard to justify compared to just checking the individual shipper’s apps for current status. Up-date to prior review: even after my prior review, I had to continue to been a paid subscriber for many years. Now, the App states as a paid subscriber, I will only get 5-10 trackings per month in real time, and then tracking up-dates may be delayed. That is absolute BS!!!! I am paying a subscription and then being limited to real time updates. My annual renewal is due later this month, and I will be cancelling the renewal as soon as I post this. There are other tracking apps available that do not charge a subscription nor limit the number of realtime updates. What was the top,of the line tracking app at one time has fallen into a “Snake Oil Salesman” category.
