User Reviews

Users find UR Mobile useful for UR information and convenient for new students, with positive notes on library chat and a solid layout. However, maps fail to load or are outdated, the app looks and feels slow and unattractive, and key features like bus schedules and dining/facility hours are missing. Cross-campus links, HRMS access, and the Blackboard icon are also missing. Several parts remain under development. Improvements should focus on performance, navigation, and adding essential schedules and cross-campus links.

Pros

Useful and convenient for incoming students to access UR information.
Library chat works well and is a helpful feature.
Good layout and overall concept with potential features.

Cons

Maps do not load and map data is outdated.
App is slow and unintuitive with poor aesthetics and usability.
Missing essential features and content such as bus/shuttle timetable with potential real-time updates, dining hours, and facility hours.
Missing Blackboard icon and lacks links for other campuses/HRMS; some content is still in development.
Some parts remain in development, limiting usefulness.

Links to the different pages no longer work, as admin got rid of all 2025-2026 links. Please update it, especially the menus! That is the only thing I use the app for

This app is in DESPERATE need of an overhaul. It feels like all I did was download a link to a crappy website. It feels slow, it feels like the designers didn’t even consider how this would appear on a phone, and it feels so unintuitive that it just turns me off of using the app altogether.
