Yes, it really does turn your phone into a GPS even without a data connection. Saved me a bunch of money not having to rent GPS units from rental car companies. The app has its quirks - the user interface isn't very intuitive and takes a while to master. Speed limits in the app frequently did not match the posted numbers. Some locations of stores and restaurants in the app's data base are out of date. And the app once tried to tell me to drive my car on a bike trail. But the thing worked 99% of the time and was only $12 - a huge bargain. Now will you please develop a similar app for North America? Please?!?

Still a great app, gets better with each release. Have used more expensive programs, used dedicated gps. This is still my favorite. Can't find it, use the google integration.
