User Reviews

User feedback commonly highlights iGeriatrics as a potentially useful, all-in-one clinical resource with handy Beers criteria, especially for new practitioners. However, multiple reviews flag concerns over price and value, sparse content for the cost, recurring bugs and freezing, and poor navigation. A subset of reviews also notes the Beers list is a particular strength, while others wish for a trial period or expanded content.
Pros
  • Comprehensive, all-in-one resource with extensive clinical information.
  • Beers criteria/list is a handy and useful feature for prescribing decisions.
  • Helpful reference tool for new practitioners.
  • Rich, centralized collection of resources that users can access.
Cons
  • Overpriced for the content; many reviews question whether the $9.99 price provides value.
  • Content feels scanty or not sufficiently comprehensive for the cost.
  • Frequent bugs and instability (crashes/freezes) reported by multiple users.
  • Difficult to navigate or poorly designed and unintuitive.

After playing with the app, I feel like it has a lot of great information. I am a soon to be FNP and think that this information is a great reference tool for new providers. However, it’s also a lot of basic information we learned in our studies. I don’t think this app would be worth the $9.99 simply for the BEERS criteria. It would be great to have on hand, but I can also use the internet from my computer to get that information for free. Overall, it’s a great resource tool for new practitioners but I don’t recommend a subscription, at least at the $9.99 price.

This app is not helpful at all. I have been trying to cancel my subscription, but am unable to access the account settings, and there is no way to reset the password. Save your money, avoid this app.

I wanted to preview this app, but every single topic you try to open says you need to download the full version. Not helpful.
