User Reviews

Overall, reviewers praise the app for teaching letters and its engaging, kid-friendly visuals, with several noting long-term use and ABC-song familiarity. The main drawbacks center on the lite version: four letters only, potential bait-to-upgrade concerns, and missing content such as promised songs or slower pacing in the letter segments. Used as an early-learning tool, it passes for beginners, but the free version and pacing limitations are common caveats that may push users toward the paid full version or another app.
Pros
  • Helps kids learn letters and recognize them.
  • Engaging and enjoyable for children, with kids using it for long periods.
  • Suitable for beginners and even kids with disabilities.
  • Pleasant visuals/graphics that support early learning.
  • Some users report long-term use and that their child learned the ABC song through the app.
Cons
  • Lite/free version only includes four letters, severely limiting content.
  • Free version is perceived as a bait to upgrade to the full version.
  • The song/letter section can be too fast, making learning difficult.
  • Free version lacks features compared to the paid version (very limited features).
  • Content promises (e.g., two songs) not delivered or misrepresented in the lite version.

Yes you only get 4 letters. But what is the lite version for? It's to give the parent a taste before you spend $1 on the full version. I loaded the lite and it was good enough to upgrade to full version. If you are really going to 1 star this app because its limited, then you need to stop buying iPads for your toddler. Seriously, people spend so much money on their kids at toys r us, but $1 for an app is outrageous ... If this pertains to you, stop breeding.

My son really enjoys this app...it has really helped him to learn his letters and be able to recognize them as well.

This app (free version) has some nice graphics and could potentially be a great app for beginners or kids with disabilities. However, I was truly disappointed with only receiving four letters in the free version. I've noticed this in many "lite" versions and find it a waste of time and space for me when your only motive is to have someone purchase your full version. It's the new trick of the trade it seems for many apps. A turn off for me who would normally pay for an upgraded version but not like this. I'd rather search the App Store further for another app before falling for a bait type product. It makes me wonder how much more would actually be in the paid app...
