Sampletoy

Sampletoy is a radical elastic sampler and granular synthesiser. Use it to capture sounds with your microphone, then play, loop, pitch, and distort them live on the screen. It includes resonant filters, delays, and an envelope to sculpt your sound, with multitouch for hands-on control and a crop tool to shape the waveform.

In stepped mode you can play chromatic, major, minor, pentatonic, and whole‑tone scales, or stay in free mode for microtonal exploration. Record performances and email WAV files directly from the app. Features include 44kHz/16bit audio, AudioBus3 output, import from Files/Voice Memos/Dropbox, Bluetooth/AirPlay, auto‑save, and a built‑in manual. It can also open non-audio files to hear their sound translated into Sampletoy.
