VIC Fires

VIC Fires is a location-aware app that provides up-to-date bushfire information for Victoria, Australia, drawing from CFA and Department of Sustainability feeds, plus BOM wind data. The app lists fires with the nearest ones first, helping you understand your current situation using your iPhone's GPS.

It does not cache data and requires internet access. Location and distance accuracy may vary on iPod Touch. It is not a substitute for official fire information, and all data is copyrighted by CFA and the Victorian Department of Sustainability. Follow P4G on Twitter at P4G_Apps.
