Users find MyBonds easy to use for tracking and printing bond portfolios, with up-to-date value displays and per-bond data entry. However, recurring issues include missing current interest rate data, limited sorting/organization, lack of scanning, data integrity problems after updates, and missing maturity/redeemed status features.

Pros

Easy to use and intuitive for tracking bonds and their values.
Shows up-to-date current values for individual bonds and the total portfolio.
Printing the bond inventory / printing capability is available.
Per-bond data entry and portfolio organization (load bonds once and view via portfolio tabs).
Useful and convenient relative to TreasuryDirect (ease of access).

Cons

No display of current interest rates or rate history for bonds; lack of rate information.
Limited sorting/organization features (difficulty sorting by purchase date, maturity, group; manual reordering).
No barcode/serial scanning; data entry is manual and serials cannot be read automatically.
Reports of data loss or broken updates and inconsistent customer support (data integrity concerns).
No mature/redeemed status indicator and cannot mark bonds as redeemed; difficulties tracking maturity/cessation of accrual.

Recent reviews

This is a great way to keep track of your EE and I bonds. It was great to be able to print off bond inventory. I do wish that it gave information about current interest, but it gives you up to date total value for each bond and for the total portfolio. Great job!,

Program will not sort entries chronologically by purchase date unless originally loaded in sequence. Adding newly loaded entries found old bonds or corrections will be listed anywhere.
