NIGHT OUT is easy to use with broad city/event coverage and convenient in-app ticketing. However, it suffers from reliability and UX issues: frequent crashes, UI overlaps on iPhone, sign-up/sign-in friction, and ticket access problems where tickets aren’t reliably viewable in-app. These recurring complaints point to a need for fixes in stability, onboarding, and in-app ticket access.

Pros

Easy to use and navigate; intuitive UI
Broad coverage of events across many cities with easy local discovery
In-app ticket purchasing and showing tickets on your phone (gate entry); keeps track via order history
Strong search/discovery features (search by city, category, and date) with easy sharing of events

Cons

Frequent crashes or failure to load on startup across devices/OS versions
UI overlap issues on iPhone (buttons collide with the home indicator/status bar)
Sign-up/sign-in problems, including broken date-of-birth field and unreliable authentication (Face ID)
Ticket viewing/access problems: tickets no longer accessible in-app or require external steps (text/email) and occasional ticket disappearance

Recent reviews

The affordances for the top and bottoms interface elements (on iPhone 14 pro) are really bad, the buttons overlap with the bottom home indicator bar, and the close buttons at the top left are barely usable because they collide with the iPhone status bar/clock. Very bad interface design.

I used to love nightout as I was able to buy tickets directly in the app without being lead to another website. Now, I’m directed to another website where I have to put in all this info that nightout used to do for me. Tickets are no longer accessible on the app because the tab was removed. I have to get my tickets texted to me or emailed. I miss the days where I could pull my tickets up on the app and have all my tickets to shows on one page. Hopefully it can return to its original ways ❤️
