Imagine you are not from the UK. Yep! People like that do exist. They come to Britain and rent a car. And then, surprisingly, they need to be able to park said car. Enter RingGo, with its monopolistic presence across UK parking lots. You download it, ready to part way with your hard earned cash. But RingGo won’t let you commit the cardinal sin of paying for parking. Unless you have a UK phone number. But not just any number. If you happen to decide you are the huckleberry here, and pay for a virtual UK number, just for the purpose of bypassing the ONLY way to register for RingGo, which somehow can’t allow said action to be done via email or some other form of authentication, it STILL won’t work. So you sink endless time and money just to abide by the rules, for RingGo to tell you to sod off (that’s the right term, yes?). In short, this app is useless if you don’t have a UK number (but not just any) and its phone support is even worse. A story for another review. Avoid at all costs. Travel to Canada instead for easier parking.
