However, the current version suffers from reliability and compatibility problems: crashes, pronunciation/audio failures across devices, outdated iOS/iPadOS support, and weak handling of apostrophes/reflexive verbs, plus some search/data issues. Despite strong content, performance is inconsistent, undermining long-term value for learners.

Pronunciation audio repeatedly crashes or fails to play (and the pronunciation function often stops working).

Outdated and not updated for newer iOS/iPadOS versions, causing UI compatibility issues (including iPadOS 25 split-view missing).
Input/keyboard shortcomings: apostrophe handling and reflexive verbs not supported.
Search reliability problems: some words missing or the app loses connection to the underlying dictionary data.

Recent reviews

I downloaded this today and the audio files worked the first time I opened the app, but after the first time, no audio files work the words will come up. It’ll show the conjugations. It shows the IPA pronunciation, but will not play the auto files.

The UI is incompatible with the windowing UI changes in iPadOS 25 and later, and the developer appears to have no intention of updating this app.

I wish I didn’t have to say this, but once I entered my password the price changed to $50 instantly and it charged me that.. and the credit card company is saying the transaction and cost are correct.. yet I saw $5 when authorizing the price! Beware!!
