London Tube Map and Guide brings TfL’s official tube map to London travelers and adds a powerful set of tools: route planner, live line status, live departures, nearest tube finder, a complete station list, and a catalog of over 200 Points of Interest in London, with the map provided courtesy of Wikimedia.

Most features work offline (route planner, map, station list, places list). A GPS signal is required for the station finder, and an internet connection is required for live data and for viewing external websites.

The route planner part of the app was poor: 1. It generated routes that included current closures (as shown by this app) 2. It generated indirect routes that missed the obvious direct routes 3. Lacks faster overground services that are part of the zone/oyster system, e.g Fenchurch Street based trains in east London
