User Reviews

Most reviews point to serious stability issues (crashes, long load times) that mar an otherwise capable editing app. Users praise the rich feature set and ease of use when it works, and some compare it favorably to the full Photoshop. However, recurring bugs after updates, non-functioning features, watermarking on saves, and a costly subscription with aggressive upselling dominate the sentiment. The top takeaway is: powerful toolset when stable, but reliability and pricing concerns substantially hurt the experience.

Pros

Fast and high-quality editing when the app runs properly.
Broad set of editing tools and creative features that appeal to both pros and casual users.
Good for on-the-go editing and generally user-friendly when stable.
Some reviews note it compares favorably to the full Photoshop version, indicating a strong toolset.

Cons

Frequent crashes and launch failures; the app won’t load or closes during use.
Slow loading and persistent performance freezes, especially after updates.
Key features sometimes do not function (e.g., Combine Photos, collage) and edits may appear with a watermark/QR code on saves.
High subscription price with limited free features; users feel basic features require payment.
Intrusive AI features and frequent pop-ups that push premium options.

Recent reviews

Loved this app and used it for a long time. Recently they added a paywall to all of the features, rendering the app useless without paying a subscription. Very disappointing. Will be looking for a new editing app.

This app used to be great. So many features. The most basic tools are now paywalled behind outrageous rates. Adobe is one of the worst most greedy corporations and doesn’t deserve another cent. Whatever you can do to NOT support this company, DO IT.
