User Reviews

Users praise MultiTrack DAW for its simple, stable, mobile-focused multitrack recording and easy exports, plus good value and long-term support. Common drawbacks include an aging UI with occasional popups/edge-cutoffs, paid upgrades for more tracks, sporadic file import issues, and limited external clock syncing for live setups.
Pros
  • Intuitive, simple, and easy-to-learn interface that stays productive for quick demos and songwriting ideas.
  • Rock-solid stability and reliability on iOS over many years, with minimal crashes and steady performance.
  • Strong multi-track recording capabilities on mobile, with straightforward input from external interfaces and easy bouncing/export, especially when upgraded.
  • Efficient, distraction-free workflow that makes it easy to capture ideas quickly and export final takes.
  • Great value with an upfront price and no subscription, plus regular substantial free updates and a flexible track-upgrade path.
Cons
  • UI/UX can feel dated and sometimes clunky, with controls or popups hidden or cut off near screen edges on some devices.
  • Pricing model relies on paying to unlock more tracks (base 2 tracks; extra tracks cost extra) and can be unclear in documentation, which some users find annoying.
  • Occasional file import limitations or reliability issues, making certain files difficult or impossible to load.
  • Limited external clock syncing capabilities, making tight live syncing with external gear (e.g., Audiobus) less reliable.

I bought for the simple splicing tool. Would be great to have a batch load option and an EQ upgrade. Still a legit little DAW. and for the people complaining over 5 bucks… ur goofy

i bought this because it was advertised as being able to record 4 channels from an audio interface simultaneously... but no only 2 miserable channels... that's one single stereo in plug. just get beat maker 3 and save your self a huge headache or use garageband that is only 2 channels but free with everything this app does and thousands of other things... FREE.

I don’t mean for notes. I don’t need a whole piano roll. I just want MIDI transport controls so that I could trigger recording and playback without the app being in focus. That would make it perfect and I would add that last star.
