Needles

Needles is a free knitting needle inventory app for the iPhone or iPod Touch. It keeps your sticks stash handy for when you need it most - like when you are at the yarn store (“Yay! No more return trips!”).

With a few easy taps, you can easily document and sort your needle collection by type (circular, single pointed, double pointed), material (metal, wood, bamboo, plastic), length and by cable length for circular needles. You can also assign notes to a particular needle (e.g.,” Wow - I really can knit faster on these Addi Turbos!”)

As an added bonus, Needles has a built in yarn store locater so you can "get your fix" when you are on the go.
