Features & Capabilities

Physics++ is the perfect companion for physics students and science learners. It offers a collection of 120+ formulas across mechanics, relativity, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and electrodynamics. The extension includes primitives, a section of commonly used units, and physics constants. With a fast search, formulas can be found quickly, and most entries have an attached calculator for solving exercises.

In addition, the extension provides built-in calculators for on-spot computations and plans to expand the formula library and constants in future updates, making Physics++ a growing reference for coursework and problem solving.

User Reviews

Users praise Physics++ for its broad formula collection, conversions, and integrated calculator, along with improvements over time and overall value for a first-year physics reference. However, multiple reviews complain about limited content and topics, an ugly or intrusive UI, and mixed perceptions of its price. The app is seen as a useful reference in some contexts but lacking depth compared with expectations.
Pros
  • Wide formula coverage with useful conversions and data (elements, gases, and compounds) for physics problems.
  • Integrated calculator with a convenient toggle between formula view and calculator, preserving input.
  • Improvements over earlier versions and overall value for the price, especially as a first-year physics reference.
Cons
  • Content is limited, with only a subset of topics and many formulas missing.
  • Ugly or cluttered user interface that can be intrusive and hard to navigate.
  • Value is perceived differently by users, with some finding it overpriced for what is offered while others think it's worth the price.

I liked the app, the selection of formulas was nice and on an iPad it is a good layout. However the calculator does have some bugs which make it difficult to use. The most annoying bug is that if you attempt to preform an operation followed by another operation on the solution of the previous operation it will cause crash (ex. 2+2=4, ans/5 and this is where the crash will happen). When this problem is fixed I will upgrade,y rateing :) Thanks for a nice app
