User Reviews

Reviews praise the app as a rich anatomy resource with detailed muscle information and helpful 3D visuals for study and patient education. However, multiple reviews highlight serious downsides: compatibility/update problems with current iOS, nonfunctional 3D media/demo features, frequent crashes and slow performance, and a clunky, non-intuitive interface that hinders quick muscle selection. Some users question value for money. Overall, the app is valued for content and teaching potential, but stability and usability issues limit its effectiveness unless addressed.
Pros
  • Extensive anatomy reference with detailed muscle information (origins, insertions, actions, innervation, and arteries) that helps students and professionals explain anatomy to clients.
  • Strong 3D visuals and graphics with range-of-motion demonstrations that aid learning and client education.
  • Widely useful across professions (PTs, massage therapists, nursing students, personal trainers) as a quick, reliable reference.
  • Easy-to-use quick-reference tool for fast information retrieval and study.
Cons
  • Compatibility and update issues: many reviews say it won’t run on current iOS and needs an update to function.
  • 3D media and demo features frequently do not work (black screen) and interaction elements like pins can misbehave.
  • Crashes or poor performance (crashes on launch, choppy feel, slow loading) reported by several users.
  • Usability problems: difficult muscle selection, overlaying UI elements, and a non-intuitive navigation that slows study.
  • Perceived poor value for money due to limited interactivity and ongoing maintenance concerns.

Great resource for studying anatomy. I’ve had this app for years and still refer to it for help with identifying muscles, bony prominences, etc. It’s definitely worth checking it out.

This is so easy to use with great information. When I was in massage school it was my to go app. I didn’t have to use my textbook all the time when I need quick information. I recommend this app to everyone.
