FingerBeat is a free pocket sampler, drum machine, step sequencer and tape recorder for creating music anywhere—no music theory required. Record sounds through your microphone, import audio files or DRM-free tracks, and transform recordings into playable kits with automatic slicing.

Build patterns with up to 256 steps, edit notes with your finger, mix live with multitouch effects, monitor vocals in real time, and record complete sessions or jams. Cut, loop and overdub audio, sync with compatible music apps, and share mixes, samples and projects through AirDrop, Messages, Mail, Files or Finder. FingerBeat includes no ads, subscriptions or locked features.
