Reviews praise the refreshed, intuitive UI and the strong campus resources (maps, bus routes, multi-role access). However, multiple users call out stability problems (crashes), unreliable transit data, broken/outdated links, and a problematic redesign that pushes features out of the app to Safari. Map and performance glitches also recur. Overall, the app is valued for content and layout, but persistent reliability and usability issues across core functions are the dominant negatives.

Overall improvements over previous versions and positive reception of the new look.

Cons

Frequent crashes and instability; the app often kicks you out or becomes non-functional.
Bus routes/times are unreliable or fail to load, making transportation information unusable at times.
Many links are broken or outdated, and some features redirect to external sites or require Safari (poor in-app experience).
Significant usability impact from the redesign; important features/flows (Howdy, ecampus) lost or harder to access within the app.
Map/UI glitches and performance issues (e.g., cannot scroll the map without it closing; laggy, slow, or unresponsive).

Recent reviews

The new version of the app looks clean and streamlined, it seems more intuitive too. It is nice to be able to toggle between looking at things from a student, employee, and visitor perspective. Definitely will be helpful for upcoming Aggieland Saturday. Glad it includes link to MaroonBase now, too.

The app has been refreshed and looks great now! It is easy to navigate and is perfect for all students, parents and visitors. There is a wide variety of information in the app and it always has what I am looking for. I really recommend using the app when on and off campus!

This app is worthless. This app no longer works on 17.1.1. Take this garbage out of the App Store. Texas A&M is low class. The recent updates are massive failure.
