Maidenhead Converter is reliable and user-friendly, offering bidirectional Maidenhead<->lat-lon conversion with eight-digit precision and a clean UI. It shines with map integration and a compact price. Common drawbacks include the lack of grid overlays on maps, not showing the grid center during conversions, missing bearing/distance guidance, and a somewhat awkward flow when returning from Google Maps back to the app.

Cons

Grid lines/boxes do not appear on maps; no grid overlay on the map.
Does not show the center of a grid when converting to lon/lat.

Google Maps integration flow is not seamless; returning to the app from Maps is awkward.

Great straight, forward app. Easy to use.

There's not a lot to say here, this just does what it's supposed to. You can use it to get your current grid square, with precision all the way out to eight characters, or it will convert from latitude and longitude to grid square and vice versa. An added bonus is that it will let you zoom all the way into a map and see the actual location. I tried this with my own a character grade square and sure and off the pain was right on top of my house. Nicely done!
