Stockfish Chess is a free, powerful Chrome chess extension that brings a top-tier engine to your browser. It plays aggressively and dynamically, willing to sacrifice material for initiative, and offers adjustable strength plus a range of styles from Passive to Suicidal.

It includes a deep opening book, PGN save/load, easy board setup, multiple piece sets and color schemes, and full engine analysis with evaluations and main lines. You can play against the machine or on both sides, with or without book moves and analysis, and you can transfer PGN files between devices—plus all source code is open under the GNU GPL.

I understand you need to restrict Stockfish to some time limit or else it can think for eternity on some moves, but why does the human player need a time limit? Please let me play a game where stockfish has a maximum amount of time per move, but the human player is allowed unlimited time per move.
