User Reviews

Most reviewers enjoy the QBeez nostalgia, finding the mobile version addictive, easy to learn, and visually appealing. However, repeated concerns center on aggressive monetization (ads and in-app purchases) and a perceived pay-to-progress model. Players miss features from the old PC version, such as power-ups, extra game modes, and a level editor, and encounter bugs, crashes, and iOS compatibility issues after updates. Progress tracking (high scores) is also a common omission that dampens motivation. Overall, strong nostalgia and charm clash with monetization pressures and technical problems.
Pros
  • Nostalgia for the PC game and faithful mobile adaptation.
  • Addictive and easy-to-learn gameplay.
  • Bright, colorful visuals and QBeez sound design.
  • Quick to pick up and play, suitable for short sessions.
Cons
  • Heavy ads and in-app purchases; feel like a money grab; lack of a no-ads option.
  • Bugs/crashes and performance issues after updates; freezing, shuffles not registering, compatibility problems.
  • Missing features from the original/PC version (power-ups, extra game modes, level editor) and reduced depth.
  • Monetization and changes reduce enjoyment; not as fun as the original.
  • Inability to track or recover high scores/progress, reducing motivation.

I think you need to lose lives and not start back over to the first round every 5 lives. We should have the option to start over or keep going but having to wait or something for lives to renew if we want to keep going.
