Recent reviews

First, this app needs to make it easy to change your store. I travel around my state and go to one I’m near. I need to change stores so I can find what isle my item is in. Target thinks it only applies to pick up or delivery. It should be at the top of the home page or at the top of my account page. Setting the home store tells me where my item is. When you make it difficult to find what I want and waste my time, I will get what I needed but will get out of the store as soon as possible. You have made my shopping experience miserable and I won’t browse on my way out. I don’t want to weed through a bunch of clutter while using the app- I wish I could eliminate certain departments from view. I will never shop anything for children or dogs. The home page has far too much to plow through.

Target makes life easy.

This has been one of my favorite apps for years. I work in software and app development and love the workflow and ease of use. That said, two recent annoyances keep cropping up: 1. The app all of a sudden became much slower around May 2026. Having to wait extra long for things to load, be removed, updated, etc. 2. Each time you add something to the cart you get a pop up to show you it was added. This is VERY annoying and redundant because it already updates on the page you’re on to show qty in cart. This has always been my one annoyance with the app, but now that everything is loading really slowly, it’s 10 times more annoying because I have to pause in between every single thing I add to the cart, then wait for the pop-up confirmation to load, then close it out, then wait for it to disappear, and then wait while the page catches up so I can scroll on.
