2011-08-28 Do***** Wish I read the reviews first. Description says it will check every 5 minutes. Only reason I got it. Does not do this, flat out misleading description. Could care less about additional features, just wanted it to do what it said it would do. Not worth 99 cents or any amount. Deleted.

2011-05-11 Wh***** Only protocols built in are FTP, http, and email. No ping? I didn't have any luck with 'custom' ports. Crashed within the first few minutes of use while attempting to add a device. It does work for a quick check of web servers.

2010-12-04 St***** Simple and does what it says ... But minimize it and it stops working. Will increase rating once that's fixed

2010-02-22 Mo***** Works great for me. Able to keep an eye on all the outward facing custom and common ports we use. I do wish there was an indication that the "every 5 minute check" was occuring.

2010-02-03 an***** This tool is a life saver for me. If you need to monitor your IT infrastructure to insure that it is up and running 24 X 7 than this tool is for you. I have my firewall, e-mail server, mainframe, websites, vpn equipment as well as various other critical equipment listed. It checks every 5 minutes to see if it can communicate with device setup. Last weekend my iPhone running this software woke me up by alerting me that I had a server down. I highly reccomend this.

2009-02-11 Me***** This app is simple and to the point. Open it up and you see a list of servers, under these servers you can set up services with ports (i.e. port 25 is SMTP). It shows grey lights next to the servers when you open it. Click the “check” button and the lights will turn green as they are tested working. It would be nice to have a drop down with common port numbers but no worries, any IT worth his salt already knows these. Great app, I give it 5 stars for simplicity and function and it is the only network monitoring app I could find for the iphone.

2008-12-10 go***** Positives: does what it says. Negatives: Should be $0.99 since it is not feature-rich, sophisticated, or particularly easy to configure. Config could be simpler if service names and well-known port numbers could be selectable (rather than all typed in) and editable for customizations.

2008-11-06 jo***** Good concept. However need the following. Functionality to be really useful. 1. Get rid of the pop up that indicates completion 2. Start with unlit indicator and turn it red or green depending on the test result 3. Include a measure of network latency. 4. Add option to run the test multiple times and then take a measure of the average ..mean? Median etc 5. Add measurmemts to include DNS name resolution time, roundttip delay , hop count for each server 6. Use a wheel to populate well known ports , in addition to the Numeric keypad. 7.add capability to auto email to a presefined address on failure I will be glad to revise my review on future updates
