It draws on the Longman Corpus Network (330 million English words) and a 50‑million-word contemporary Japanese corpus to present senses by frequency, with clear grammar notes and formality guidance. The dictionary also offers rich visuals (over 700 illustrations, photos, and descriptive movies) and extensive data, including 102,000 headwords and phrases, 83,000 example sentences, and 63,000 collocations.
