User Reviews

Overall, reviews are mixed. The strongest recurring complaints are sign-in friction and verification hurdles (captchas, 2FA, lockouts), frequent account restrictions, and weak customer support. Users also report persistent ads and clutter, sometimes even for premium members, and a range of reliability issues including app crashes, bugs, and a finicky UI. Privacy concerns and spam from data brokers are noted by some. A smaller group still praises LinkedIn for its professional networking and inspirational content, indicating value for career development when access and performance are stable.

I have spent countless hours trying to get into my account yet it says I am not who I say I am even after providing my State Drivers License as well as US Passport. I used an email address that was deleted due to non use and I am unable to gain access. They can take their App and company and stick both where the sun fails to shine. I know who I am and I travel frequently and no government has ever denied me access, so this weak phoney company can pee up a rope. I don’t need them anyway! It’s not all that impressive to begin with!

This is hands down the most anxiety-inducing UI I’ve ever used. I’ll open a job post, actually get into it, maybe even start thinking I’m being productive… then I swipe to Control Center for five seconds to do a quick calculation. I come back aaannndd … LinkedIn has completely erased everything like it never happened. Context gone. Progress gone. Time gone. Sanity gone. My tolerance? Also gone. Now I vote differently. It genuinely feels like the app punishes you for leaving it for two seconds. Like, sorry for needing a calculator? Honestly, it’s very on-brand for Microsoft, same energy as Windows forcing an update right when you’re in the middle of something important. “Oh, you needed that? Too bad.” And the worst part is this isn’t a one-off bug, it’s everywhere. This “feature” wipes out anything you were doing the moment you look away. You guys should hire me.
