The app is highly praised for breadth of conversions and ease of use; it’s a reliable, fast tool ideal for travel. However, recent design changes have frustrated users by reducing configurability and causing UI clutter, with visibility issues on small screens. Many want the old interface back or at least better customization. Some feature requests persist (kitchen category, regional toggles). Overall, it remains a strong, versatile converter.

Recent reviews

On functionality, it's simple the best app of its type. That said, this most recent refresh of the interface is a step backwards in terms configurability and interaction design. Where previously you could effectively hide all unwanted conversion parameters from the GUI; now you have to select favorites ad nauseam to readily access oft-used conversion parameters, with all the unwanted parameters still clogging up the GUI. I lost the prior version when moving to a the iPhone 17 Otherwise I would never have updated to this version.

In the past, I would have given this app 5 stars. It is now barely usable. Is there any way to get back to the old, intuitive, version?

I love this app and use it all the time. With the new design, I can see only 3/4 of the screen on my iPhone 12 Mini, which makes the app completely unusable. Please fix that issue, then I can give you 5 stars again. Update Aug. 2025 Thank you for fixing the issues. It’s very good to have this app back 🙂
