Billing and refund policies are unclear and refunds are difficult to obtain despite unused sessions (14-day guarantee with undisclosed conditions).

Customer support is inconsistently responsive, with reports of delays, escalations and perceived lack of goodwill.
App reliability issues include login problems and glitches that affect usability.

Before linking your credit card to the app be cautious. The reoccurring will happen and they will refuse refunding your money. They took $600 after I paused my account due to a military deployment so me and my partner were unable to attend for a few month or even USE the 8 session we paid for. I email them with my concern and they could care less. Try ReGain or Talkspace. They are more mindful with your money than OurRitual.

While I genuinely enjoyed my 3-month therapy sessions, the app was consistently glitchy throughout. When I was ready to end my subscription, I communicated directly with my therapist, who confirmed I was all set after the paid period — no further action needed on my part. Instead, I was charged again for a service I’m no longer using, on an app I can no longer even access, without my authorization. I’ve now spent over a month trying to resolve this with customer service, and I’m no closer to a resolution. Every interaction ends with “we’re escalating it” and “please wait” — with nothing to show for it. The billing practices are deceptive, the customer service is the worst I’ve experienced since first downloading the app, and the app itself still doesn’t function reliably. 0/10. Do not recommend.
