I bought 3 of them, they were gifts, one for me. The screen is constantly trying to update showing a gear even though the app says it’s connected to WiFi Bluetooth and Apple Music. Very fickle. Too bad I reallly loved it when it worked properly. Even as I write it finds the proper image and then it drops again. Frustrating.

My Tuneshine keeps dropping its WiFi connection, which means the album art freezes or fails to update. I’ve already completed all available software and firmware updates, followed the online troubleshooting steps (including Direct Internet mode), and still experience frequent disconnects. I use Sonos daily and consider myself reasonably tech-savvy, so this doesn’t appear to be a simple user-setup issue. The WiFi reliability (and by extension the album-art feature) still needs work on the software side.
