parentsportal.scot is a secure app that connects parents directly with their child's Scottish school using mygovscot single sign-on. It replaces letters and phone calls by providing online access to key services: absences, annual data checks, attendance, class timetable, notice board, permission slips, report cards, and the school calendar.

New features include push notifications and biometric login (Face ID or fingerprint) for quick, secure access. Available across many Scottish councils, with some features varying by council area. Not all features are available in all council areas.
