Amped Outdoors Battery monitors are easy-to-use devices that visibly and effectively display how long the battery's charge will last. It also calculates how much power the battery has versus how much charge is going out, while providing the approximate amount of time the battery will remain charged. There is a wide range of battery monitors, depending on the specific application. Some of the more identifiable monitors include RV battery monitors, marine battery monitors and car battery monitoring systems.

Amped Outdoors battery monitor can be used with Lead Acid, Lithium Iron Phosphate, AGM, Gel Cell and Nickel Metal Hydride batteries with a voltage range of 8V to 120V.

It's designed to measure the current state of a battery's function, measuring voltage, current and capacity in real-time by Phone, The monitor will show both power consumption as well as power replenishment.

To put it honestly, this app sucks. It has good potential but when it crashes 9 times of of 20 when trying to connect to the battery (not using auto connect) it makes the app and thus the $80 battery monitor useless. If I keep trying to connect it will eventually connect and run for awhile but will crash again at some point. Sent an email to Amped and they just told me to reinstall which I did and no change. That was last October so for good measure I just deleted it and reinstalled again and still get an immediate crash on connect (app just goes away, no alert at anything). I even volunteered to debug the code myself as I’m an old Apple dev/employee but they ignored me.

For anyone looking.. the product does work.. but it is currently a pain.. lol You need auto connect to the battery. You cannot click the battery you want, the app will crash 100% of the time, if you have multiple batteries go to the “back to list screen”. Uncheck the auto connect to the current battery and choose the other battery and then close the app and open it again.. it will open the other one
